DESCRIPTION:
The East Coast Sales Leader will be responsible for distribution, development, and sales within the region for the Kidde Fire Systems brand. Candidates for this position are to demonstrate exceptional and multi-dimensional skills in the areas of strategic planning, problem solving, complaint resolution, multiple account accountability, supervision of dispersed staff, prioritization, public speaking and presentation skills and an ability to communicate essential brand characteristics powerfully, concisely, confidently and consistently.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Travel within the territory, independently and with management, calling on distributors, A&E Firms, contractors, end users, and AHJ?s in all markets
+ Plan and organize sales visits and provide regular reports, market information, competitor information and customer feedback to the Company. This includes information to enhance product development.
+ Develop and manage ?sales pipeline? to maximize revenue and EBIT
+ Develop and train distribution on all products in order to gain acceptance and market share
+ Work with each distributor in the development, commitment and execution of product specific annual sales goals
+ Identify target markets and develop additional distribution to ensure complete coverage within region
+ Cultivate customer contacts with existing and potential customers to maximize business opportunities and ensure sensitivity and response to changing customer and market needs
+ Work w/ partners and teams to scope and manage solutions through the sales cycle
+ Accurate and timely forecasting of sales opportunities
+ Management of customer accounts
Qualification:
QUALIFICATIONS:
+ 10+ years? experience in sales leadership role
+ Distribution/channel territory development and management experience required
+ Experience in preparing and presenting technical and sales presentations to distribution, end users, the A&E community, and other influencers
+ Excellent communication skills, written and oral
+ Ability to set priorities, multitask and follow through on an assignment without redirection
+ Proven initiative, enthusiasm, organization and creativity
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office ? Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Access
+ Ability to travel a minimum of 60%
Education:
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
+ Bachelor?s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent. MBA a plus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
